Capable of hosting 100+ conference delegates the room has a deep, rich carpet to offer unrivalled acoustic clarity for speaking and events.
The wood paneling and huge coffered ceiling have been stripped back, carefully restored and take price of place amongst a room with several stand out architectural features.
The Queen's boardroom, named so because HRH Queen Elizabeth II visited the Town Hall during her coronation tour, has a magnficent boardroom table seating 12 on luxurious chesterfield chairs. The room has a handsome double height arched ceiling with an ornamental plaster freeze that has been painstakingly restored to its original standard.

The Clervaux Chamber has been restored to a monumental full height space, almost Cathedral like in scale and standing. Originally used as the main court for South Tyneside, the panelling has been left as two tier to leave a subtle hint at its former use. Spotlights wash the ceiling and beams to highlight the stunning woodwork on show.
Entered through a grand pillared walkway, the Grand Chamber at Jarrow is one of the leading conference venues for the local area and has already hosted several historic events like Labour leadership votes and major NHS public consultations.
The Reyrolle Boardroom is a substantial meeting space with a double height vaulted ceiling and a custom made oak table befitting one of the most prestigious boardrooms in the North of England. It adds an elegance to any board meeting.
